  If you have wireless headphones, you can connect them to your TV wirelessly by connecting them to your TV's headphone jack. When connected through the headphone jack, a set of wired headphones will still be used for sound. A headphone jack has 4 wires, and there is one "line out" and 3 normal headphone jacks. From the headphone jack, you can get one line out and two headphone jacks. There are three different things that can be connected to these two jacks: a microphone, a television remote control to control the television itself (no sound), and a music player that can stream music from your own device. If you listen to voice from the tv itself, or if you do not want to use this line-out for anything else but headphones, then your only option is to connect your headphones directly into the tv's 3.5mm "stereo mini plug" jack.
